Ageing Fabric

Life’s fabric - warp and weft,
We loom both right and left
But in that piece we weave
Some loose ends we do leave
So our cloth prone to fray
As those yarns start to stray
Of our weave we are proud.
Perfection not allowed
For what was grand affair
Now sadly needs repair.
Those ageing yarns break more.
Loose ends appear galore.
The unravelling weave
Signals it's time to leave.

So true! The reminder of wear and tear/unravels within the innermost fear. Really creative woven piece :-)

Many thanks. A yarn I often spin. / Weaving I now explore. / But I just cannot win. / I see loose ends galore. Tony

Many thanks. This is how life must go. / It's in our DNA. / The rule that stops the show, / For all life must decay. Tony
