Ageing

For some, it's not easy getting old... so many mistakes along the way can cause anyone's spirit to fold... the path of the past cannot be changed, when at long last the truth is told ! Those years are gone-there's no turning back ! There is no silver-there is no gold ! So at this point, I reiterate, it's not always easy getting old !

Some things are good though: senior discounts, hugs from grandchildren, free time for other activities. I look for the silver linings in every day. The gold in every sunrise. I may be forgetting things, and see my wrinkles, etc. And even with heart disease and diabetes, I keep my mind positive. Despite my losing a son, life is still worth living. I hope I have inspired you a little to look on the bright side of getting older. Blessings, Darlene

Its not easy getting old - its even worse seeing your parents and aging and deteriorating:-( great write:-) hugs jan xxx
