Ageing

Ageing is a fact of life
And time just seems to fly.
There’s no way you can stop it
Except if you should die.

Looking back I’m sure you’ll see
The things you should have done
That would keep you younger longer
If only you had known.

Obviously that’s hindsight
Which is to no avail.
It really makes you think about
The things that made you frail!

It’s too late now to change the past
No matter what - it’s history!
The present - you’re so out of shape
So try to solve the mystery.

You can diet- you can exercise
You can workout in a gym.
Once you get yourself in shape
You should be nice and trim!

This will slow the ageing down
And make you feel more fit.
Time will still go marching on
But you’ll be less aware of it!

SO SHAPE UP EVERYBODY AND ENJOY OLD AGE!

Good poem. Sadly, I eat right(most of the time) and work out 3 to 4 hours at the gym (all I can fit in with my tight schedule) and I still have managed to put on more than 10 pounds in just a year or two. Hitting 50 is what does a woman in. It just makes me SICK. LUv, Andrea
