Notes About The Poem

Derived from a "Quotable Quote" I submitted to Reader's Digest in '68. They paid me $25 and said it would appear in "a yet to be determined edition." I never saw it in print until it was the Daily CryptoQuote in the OKC paper many years ago.

The Quotable Quote: "'Whoever said, "Age is just a state of mind," was out of his."'

Age

After a while, 
You may find
That age is not
“Just a state of mind";
So, you should hope
That time is kind.
