Agape Love An Illusion

Love you profess, Love you seek 
Love often makes you weep
But what is love have you pondered
Word you often use, about it wondered

What you love body or mind?
If same changes would you mind?

Is it love or need?
Basic human need
for work to be done?
Bodily satisfaction?

We care for those who serve us
For selfish needs we create a fuss
It would be hard living without them
So we take care of some 

We have expectations from all
Till alive we use all, it does appall
If they are bad we chuck them out
Our happiness important we shout

Can we love someone who is bad
Always making us sad
We will surely hate such person
Our behaviour toward them does worsen

We state in God's love there's no dearth
Then why are so many sad on earth?

Agape love is an illusion
Cause of delusion
Selfless love just can't exist
Humans must be selfish to subsist
