Against Me
Same America same problems,
Don’t say there’s not a problem.
America sees black as a threat,
Living life is America’s biggest upset.
Will I ever truly be free?
I ponder that like birds in trees.
We take a stand and America’s mad,
They think we always overreact.
George Floyd was lost by a knee,
Justice for Breonna is what we need.
I may not march and protest in the streets,
But I will write and speak on what I believe.
Athletes are even taking a stand,
But Twitter still refuses to understand.
People are blinded by their own desires,
America continues cutting at the wire.
