Again

sitting in solace
i contemplated the thought
of never seeing you again
never conversing with you again
never being held in the warmth
of your gaze again
then a drop of fate
lubricated my tongue
and in that i tasted
your awe
your aura
And again I rose
with strength
rebutting against
confusion and shame
I wore a shining skin of love
that You designed to fit
just me
and again i inhaled
a new day
drank sunshine until
I could breathe again
love again and go on
with our hands clasped
I knew
It was just the beginning
of me living again...
