Aftershock

She sits in a dark room
Amidst her blood and tears
And she's confused as to why
Her razors can't fight away her fears
This pain is always aware
Setting off instant alarms
But her mind can't stop drifting
and picturing herself in his arms.
What happened to the love they shared
And all her compassion to show that she cared.
She is screaming in agony for no one to see
It is an ache she is not able to flee
It was him.
He caused this change in her.
He was the one,
who made her believe they were in love.
He ripped out her heart.
Tore it in two
All because he found someone new.
She thought he was the one
God she was wrong.
So many cuts from him.
But her blood wasn't worth
What he could never feel
This is what she wants him to see
I love you, She says
Don't say you love me..

My dear Tiffany, My heart is heavy my mind flashes back to my own nightmares and I'm reminded why we are all here. Why we do what we do; it gives us the strength to start anew. I feel your pain and your power as you've delivered this message beautifully. Keep writing... Your PSoup friend...Lay
