Your words they resound within the breeze
Fluttering through the fields of tall and withered trees
Where the radiant sunlight freely flows
Your strength as fierce as the vibrant morning glow
A whisper of goodbye that lingers deep within
A story that travels onward as you start again
To a brand new day of purpose that serves to remind
You rest within the hearts of those you will never have to find
We celebrate the gift of your life, as you fade into the horizon
The weight that once felt heavy, slowly begins to lighten
A void that will remain vacant, though your light still illuminates
Guided home to a place of infinite beauty, just beyond heavens gates
