Aftergloom
"a dagger of pain, a tear of grief"
- Quote by _Constance La France
A dagger of pain piercing the heart,
that's what he felt when they were apart;
A moment without her was too hard to bear,
losing her was his greatest fear.
A tear of grief fell from his eyes
for the heart that drifted, now as cold as ice;
There's no word to paint his pain and sorrow,
his heart shunned the dawn of a new tomorrow.
Constantly, he mourned her precious memory.
Everyday without her was like a century.
It was like a blade of endless torture,
like life without her is life without future.
But the sun behind clouds is still shining
and there is still chance for a new beginning.
The one that drifted might not deserve his love
and the right one for him will be sent from up above.
