After the Storms

After the storms and the rains
The heartache and pain
I know you feel down and like there is no one around
You've had more than you can take
It feels like you are going crazy
But, don't lose hope, just hold on baby
Things can change in time
The sun will shine through the clouds
The storm will pass on by
I know you are strong and will continue on
Never give up, my soldier
You got this and I you can get through
I have faith in you
Take one step at a time, one day at a time
I always wish you well and hope you'll be fine
Sending much love and light
I hope it gets you through your darkest night

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Welcome to PS. Negative... I'm not sure you've stuck to Tail-Rhyme form, but it's not one I'm that familliar with, the line which starts "You got this" has a word missing. Positive... whether this is real or imagined, you've got your mind in the right place, your sentiments come across in a very fresh way, I enjoyed the read.

Hey Nick, yes you are right I missed a word it was suppose to be " You got this and I know you can get through" I don't know how to edit it after I have published it as I'm new to this site. If I can fix it when I figure out how to, then I will. It's bugging me now lol. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Beautiful sentiments of hope! Some ugly storms out there. I was keeping a watch here in Georgia.
