After the Party

After the party and the clowns have gone
A train whistle blows and the shades are drawn
Sunrise is still a few hours away
She thinks of tomorrow - the lonely day
After the party the laughter has died
Many had whispered and many had lied
But that is life and the world goes around
A tear begins forming - bring back the clown
