After the Kiss

Filled with emotion, Self conscious at first, It was but worth the wait, Your moist lips, The smell of your breath, The gleam in your eye, As you lay upon my chest, Slow again gazing at you, Wanting more, To taste your lips again, And hold you so gentle, My hand on the back of your neck, To draw you closer, As again our lips meet, More passionate than before, Both thinking we’ll see each other more. Thank you Joseph a friend asked if I could write a poem for her of the first kiss so I did and then I had a thought there has to be more so I wrote after the kiss. She loved it.

That's what I am talking about. There has to be some follow-up. This poem is right on point. Great job! Joseph
