After the End
After the end,
A thought each day,
What if, if only,
Still want to say...
I miss you,
Us and mine,
Apart, it's over,
Lives on in mind...
Memories, loved,
Not wanting to fade,
Need to forget,
Decision made...
The first.
Another no other,
A wish you were my wife,
Hoping for our reality,
In a second life....
The last,
Tears goodbye,
Our heart in the sand,
Washed away forever,
Never more to hold your hand...
