After Awhile

My world as I know it
just changed forever
you left me alone
to wonder the desert

day after day
I feel your touch
but nights seem longer
I miss you so much

those little things
that made you, you
now weigh my heart
what do I do

I talk to myself
I talk to you
I talk to Jesus
He loves you too
 
after awhile
my pain will ease
a new chapter I begin
a stronger me
