After a Few Beers

.

After a few beers.

His words gush out
like water furiously spraying
from a punctured garden hose
on a blistering, hot day.
He just loves to talk.

And his worst fears
immediately vanish
like beer poured into
a swimming pool
beneath a noonday sun.

After a few beers.
