Africa

Hi, my name is Africa tell me what you see inside. Dont get fooled by the norm because aids and crime is what you'll find. Why do you speak of Africa as if its blind. clean your lens and upgrade what your mind dispenses, if not then comments will bring regular offences. Hundreds of years have seen many oppressed, then last twenty have seen a continent sexually obsessed. do we even see green pastures or is the phrase obselete leaving the faces around the world green. Is Afica a fertile soil with no seeds to lay-could it be the reason why I strangely see blouted bellys everyday. We have to look and observe and truly declare if this is my body's just deserves. A mind concept A thought gone depth This is mine and this is yours dont let it die dont let it fall, if you do you'll kill us all. Africa is sinking and only the captain goes down with his ship so leave me behind because by not preventing I have steered my ship down. I sink on many tears cried by Africans and land on many bodies killed by daily genocides Hi my name is Afica tell me what you see inside.

There is power in prayer and if one can't afford to give, then pray. Your beautiful profound poem tells the bitter truth while causing the reader to search their souls.

Such a sad , truthful and honest depiction of our continent.. well written. Since 1994 we have been promised unfulfilled solutions to all these serious issues. Such a pity, as Africa/South Africa is such a beautiful country. My heart goes out to the innocent children-- daily threats of sexual abuse, murder and starvation.
