Adonai

From the harmful storm
in the darkest night,
I run to the shining light.
Then you so gently take me
into your loving arms.
The thunder stops
the sun comes out
for I can hear you say;
you are my child
and I'm your God
I'll guide you down my way.
But have not fear
for I am near
to watch your every step.
And know its true
that I love you
even when you make mistakes.
your sacrifice is all it takes
my sweetness in beyond what’s said.
my mercy’s to the sky.
I am the beginning and the end
I am The Adonai.
