Addiction To Love

They say love is patient,
They say love is kind.
But can love be owned
By someone else's mind?

As I woke up this morning,
With a feeling of dread,
I woke up this morning,
With someone in my bed.

This was not the first time,
This was not the last.
That I got out of my bed,
Rather fast.

He was not the same,
As the one before.
In fact some would call me,
A stupid Hoa##.

But love was not designed,
To share with few.
Love was designed,
For more than two.

I love with my brain,
I think with my heart.
Myself and love,
Can't be torn apart.

I look down and stare,
At his beautiful face.
Hearing his gentle noises,
Makes my heart seem to race.

With one slight yawn,
And one slight purr,
My cat rolled over,
Covered with furr.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
