Addiction I Got a Second Chance
I'm not the same, from the way you say
I'm not to blame, but I have to pay
Only I was naive, and you took advantage
But I will achieve, to a higher percentage
You blocked my path, to diminish my dreams
And from your wrath, they caused my screams
Writhing in pain, for you thought was my destiny
I'll let you celebrate, if that's your will
But I'll not tolerate, the change of how I feel
When I fell apart, you came to my life
And now we part, this time for life
Indeed you said, I'd see your wonder
But now I'm saved, from the spark of thunder
The covenant is over, for I've realized my destiny
They said you're great, but I know you deceive
And because of my fate, I had to believe
A sip and a puff, was all like a rhythm
To sleep and to laugh, was all like a film
To sit and to walk, I couldn't distinguish
For you put a lock, the charm I couldn't extinguish
But now I walk away, for my dream awaits me
Forget our little secret, for now I've reformed
For now it's too late, for I'm informed
There is always a second chance, for those who've lost hope
Sometimes its once, so take it when it popes.
