Adam In Eden'
Adam in Eden; God's Delight'
The perfect creation; An awesome sight'
Loneliness felt deep inside;
God created Eve-the first bride.
Enter the serpent, magnificent to behold.
Until the first lie was told'
Disobedience-which was the first sin,
He blamed her; she blamed him.
God in the garden in the cool of the night;
Naked, they both hid from His sight'
Perfect man from his position fell;
From the garden, both were expelled.
Children were born; a happy time,
Cain returned from where Abel lay dying,
Hearing that her son had died.
Eve bowed her head- and cried'
Jesus in Bethlehem's stable cold;
Just as Scripture had foretold,
He grew up to be a man.
All according to God's plan.
Twelve men were taking inside,
The foundation of His Church....His Bride.
Three quick years; He taught them much,
As He went about with a healing touch.
At the cross, fallen man had his way,
And crucified the Lamb that day'
On day three, Resurrection came,
Nothing since has been the same'
When I realized it was for me He died,
I humbly bowed my head- and cried.
