Actions

ACTIONS

I have to live with other people’s actions –
I carry them and their actions around in my head.
Their story is my story as I get drawn in and I ask myself,
why does it all happen?

Why do I carry
other people’s stories inside my head,
if other men have such tales in their heads of other people.
My incentive is to keep going in life, take each day
as I find it and to do my best – the only way.

What I know can bring others to justice, solve mysteries,
put me in danger. I’ll take their stories to the grave –
will people do the same with me?

Maybe my stories have such an effect on people
and cause them trauma and upset,
doom-laden words of days gone by.
