Act of Time

Listen to poem:
Act of Time David J Walker The purlieu of my childhood survives in dreams And haunts me as I drive its hazy streets Though everything’s complete Still intact as if Some sort of act of time What was is mine As I repeat each line as if Spoken in foreign language play So far away in a distant auditorium
