Across the Street

Never lonely, now these days I walk on city streets amongst the mass of souls arrayed on these city streets But eyes glare down and blankly past on cold city streets Human connections fight to pass your smile on city streets A million around, but isolated now dejected on city streets The pond we knew constricted view on smaller, quiet streets The judging smiles and waves adieu all fake on quieter streets They stop and look at your lifes open book on nosier quiet streets No minding their medling or toll it took on intrusive quiet streets. So I stroll now knowing green is on neither side- but within an unattainable middle...
