Across the Stars

And the darkness hovered outside my window
Soon I should close my eyes and sleep
My mind grows weary from fighting my demons
I ask her to have faith and leap
Although tired and worn-out
I will get very little sleep no doubt
My hope is your acceptance
And the intentions of my heart, you'll know
