Across the Miles

Across The Miles

Though we are miles apart
our hearts are intertwined
Though we are miles apart
I can't get you off my mind.

Though we are miles apart
our hearts beat as one
Though we are miles apart
our souls are carried as one.

Though we are miles apart
I wait until the day we meet again
Though we are miles apart
my heart just skips a beat.

Though we are miles apart
our lives were meant to be
Though we are miles apart
In my heart you will always be.

This poem has a lot of potential and maybe I'm just being too critical today but this poem would be better if you could find some more words that rhyme with art and one and be.
