Acid Tears

Under the passing smile he nourished his monstrous collusion
Plunder the face, while my shattered mirror fallen in confusion
Hunter shammed in the veil of love, pursued the pleasure of delusion
Thunder struck into a litter pile, driven me to a life in seclusion
Wonder how the hostile acid, deformed my face into exclusion
Sunder my life into an isle, the immense vacuity of illusion.

Your muse is really touching Jenish. This is such a powerful tale of sadness and strength. Loved the reference from the real incident portrayed in the movie. Numerous barbaric stories have been narrated in a nutshell. Congratulations on your win my friend. Blessings :)

A tragic event of the kind took place in Greece last month when a thirty-five-year-old woman attacked viciously with acid a thirty-four- year- old young lady. Your poetic ardor has managed to obliterate the ugliness of the act with poetic beauty dearest, Jenish! Hugs xxx

Very deep poem Jenish. The world has become a very frightening place, too much unnecessary hatred ... Take care...Shirley

Thank you Shirley.. A great share of acid cases are 'love' related.. Interesting.. rejection of love leading to hatred..

Well written Jenish, those evil scum who carry out those wicked attacks should be hung. They might as well have killed the victim because they have ruined their lives Tom
