Accepting My Age
Failing eye sight...
cracking bones.
memory loss...
decreased muscle tone.
Lack of energy,
to get things done...
nothing seems to be much fun.
The years they just keep on speeding by...
yet there's still so much I'd like to try.
No need to cry over past regrets...
you can't go back to change them.
The older you get...the more you forget...
which sometimes is a blessing.
Try not to judge yourself for mistakes you have made...
for no one here is perfect.
There is a God above who sends His love...
so we need not be afraid.
Accept your age...whether young or old...
and fulfill your dreams and goals.
