Acceptance
By the teacher of children in a preschool class
Kids are taught how to listen first time asked
Have good manners by showing respect in school
Which naturally at times they disobey that rule
Life is a stage, each child the star of their own show
Each their own path, their own road to go
Daring David stands up at the top of the slide
Toppling head first and down he will glide
Silly Soraya likes to do things her way
Do it for her and she will have a lot to say
Outstanding Olegario is convinced he is a superhero that fly’s
He plans to lead us into battle and protect us from all bad guys
Entertaining Emma’s faces and sounds are the funniest around
If not a comedian when she grows up undoubtedly a clown
Marvelous Mary lives up to her level knowing the proper way to act
When someone else doesn’t she’s the first to react
Jovial Jovany is consistently happy, loves to help and organize
With these traits to the top of the class he is sure to rise
Chatterbox Crystal is never at a loss for words whether you listen or not
She just really loves to hear herself talk
Irresistible Isabella has a most unique personality
She can tell a story with unbelievable originality
Enthusiastic Etta, always jumping and dancing while she sings
Moving about to a tune in her head is her thing
Admirable Alison has traits even adults impress
A great listener who knows the power in saying less
Artistic Amari can sit for hours and just draw
Having the talent to create a picture to look just like what she saw
Assertive Alexa has a way of getting kids to follow her direction
I won’t be surprised if one day she wins an election
Each child by allowing another to be just as they are, just because
Learn the healthy way to receive acceptance and love
