Notes About The Poem

As a man you are seen as the stronger person And as a man we hid things that would make us look Less as a man this is to let people know that Abuse in a domestic relationship can be both ways. And can affect bot men and women in the same way Don't make it invisible. Abuse against Children women men animals is WRONG don't suffer in silence.

Abused men?

My body is exhausted my mind is
Screaming out.

I know what I want to say but nothing
Is coming out.

Sometimes I want to talk to you about 
The plans I've made. 

But I stop myself from telling you 
For some reason I'm afraid. 

So I sit deep in though but still
I sit in silence. 

Worried that if I talk it will lead to 
Violence. 

Who can I turn to that will listen 
To what I have to say. 

You see a woman can abuse a man 
In the same way.
