Abused Love

Tears trickled down my face
As though I lost a pearl
For my love was abused
In ignorance I was used.
A groan to my soul an embrace.

How did I not know?
You spelled me with deception
I served your heart faithfully
Mine severed painfully
Enthralled in your charm attention.

Drowned in pools of tears
For days I refused
My stomach's persistent painful call
I swallowed at a consistent gall
On my abused, consolation of peers
Confused and much more bemused.
