Abused For the Right Reason
Abused the word taboo to speak,
Read on and you’ll know why,
How God came to earth through
Jesus Christ, and gave his life a sacrifice.
Spat upon, rejected, scorned and mocked,
Denied by Peter that wasn’t a shock.
The plan of salvation full and free
Christ took the thought and died for me.
The ultimate sacrifice done once
And for all. And no one can redo
The past. Through one man (ADAM)
Sin came on the earth, but through
The blood of Christ, we are free at last.
Reveal yourself a fresh oh Lord,
That we might plainly see.
The price you’ve paid on Calvary,
Is for the whole world, but especially
For me.
