Abundantly Blessed

Just thinking of my blessings makes me smile. I’d name them all if I had just a few, but I’ve so many, they would form a queue extending for at least a country mile. Through an abbreviated list, I’ll try to share how very fortunate I feel. My foremost blessings, I declare with zeal. They all grow sweeter as the years fly by. I’ll start with the salvation of my soul, for life here on this earth is not the end. For family, my church, and all my friends, I’m grateful. Each fulfills a unique role. I tell the Lord I’m grateful for my health and senses to perceive this world’s delights, its days and nights, the wondrous sounds and sights of nature—all superior to wealth.
