Abstractionism

Art. Twisted in all its beauty and form
Beyond the sights of the ordinary man
Staring bewitchingly and not understands?
The canvas hangs bold, you look Forlorn
Reaching out to touch the paper so worn
And while walking away, you come back looking grand
Continue to let the inspiration make plans
To many heights like a forest of thorns
Inside your mind you find a space
Often you take heed in this home
Notice the colour and intelligence that roam
Including the brushstrokes, the artist sets pace
Smiling because you understand this place
Many parts of this abstract you see when minds blown!

Sometimes modern art makes to sense to me on the initial viewing, Emma, but later there is a lasting impression. Original take on the acrostic challenge. Best wishes in the contest! Love, Carolyn

I am not sure if I have written this "Italian Sonnet" properly? Any help or tips would be appreciated - Thank you Linda for correcting me by the way! :o)
