Absent Friends
A bunch of flowers marks
The final resting place
Of earthly endeavours exit
From the human race
To freely fly from body
Unto another plane
To never struggle for a breath
Nor run for cover in the rain
So it is with my dear companions
Departed from me here
Enjoying their spiritual youth
While I remain to shed a tear
They are gone but not forgotten
As they share my mind each day
Many happy recollections
Makes my sadness go away
