Above The Storm
On a dark and rainy day
You lifted me above the storm
You rocked me in your arms
From the day that I was born
You instilled in me calmness
With the gentleness of your hand
So I lift my voice to praise you
For now I understand
You’re the master of the sea
The creator of the sun
The emperor of the rain
The great and holy one
Though my eyes have never seen you
My heart knows you well
You’re my protector from the storm
The supreme ruler in the now
You’re my father in the heaven
My Savior here on earth
My guiding light and my friend
The creator of my birth
