Forgive me, Gert, but you triggered thoughts of fishing. Just as that "last gleam" is sinking below the horizon, the fish start biting. Very beautiful image of the town and foliage in the background, but for me the fish are in the forefront. The German version has a very melodious quality to it as well. Excellent! (And thanks for reminding me that sundown is primetime for fishing.) Love, Carolyn
