Abandoned

Why do I have to cry, until my tears run dry?
Like an egg in the pan I fry, I was told to give a try,
Little did I know I was abandoned, to this endless isolation?
My heart is in such solitude, with nobody to give me company.

Soft music soothes the heart; I wonder why mine wouldn’t adjust
Nobody gives me a hand, to try and forget my past
My wits are corrupt; I wonder whether I was spelt a cast?
My life is turning out bad, while dreams diminish so fast.

Did the creator make an error, we can request him to undo
Or am living in the wrong era, we can request the parents to undo
Everything is happening in terror, I wonder what I will be tomorrow
In an office as I reap my fruits, or in the streets as I borrow?

Abandoned is the word, please everyone take my hand
Many out there are suffering, with no one to give them a glimpse
We are all human beings’ entitled to take responsibilities
Let’s all find the abandoned.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
