A Year and Five

A Year and Five (with love for Barbara) By Franklin Price 06/18/2023 A year and five long months ago You left this mortal life To be with God in Heaven The God who let you be my wife In all His love and wisdom He always knew that we should be The husband and the wife we are Throughout all eternity Death did not end the memories As you look down from above Death did not divorce us We still have eternal love We will meet again in Heaven And will walk the streets of gold Be together for eternity My love for you does not grow old

Franklin, this is so poignant. Your heartfelt words drip with feelings of deep loss but eternal love too. Great work. Cheers - Gary
