A Writers Prayer
Give me the words to speak
And the message to be mined
Something for the weak
Or for those who are blind
Be in all that I write
And touch the ones You choose
Let me reflect Your Light
And spread the good news
Show me the path
For all my words to follow
Shunning me from their wrath
As they find out that they’re hollow
This I do in Your Name
In telling all the ages
Life will never be the same
When Jesus fills all your pages
