A Wondrous State
There were times you traveled with Him, and times you traveled blind
Looking back now you can see them, those times you left behind
At times you were a sailor and you sailed your boat alone
Until you walked the desert and you carried all you own
Jesus is a sailor and the Lord of wandering men
If you ask Him where you're bound He will ask you where you've been
And He takes you by the hand and leads you to the river
And becomes your travel guide and your only true forgiver
So you want to travel with Him not so blind like before
And you sail the open sea with an eye upon the door
There were times you traveled with Him, and times you traveled blind
Traveling once forgiven is a wondrous state to find
