A Wondrous Gift

One may not possess garden space
dwelling in a compacted place
But there’s something all can embrace
that’s the sky in glorious grace.

Look at clouds as they’re drifting by
painting their pictures way up high
Thrill to dance of birds on the wing
hark their melodic twittering.

There’s beauty in the rising sun
or sunset as the night’s begun
So do not fret o’er what was missed
for the sky is a wondrous gift.

As for your poem the sky is the limit one says but so wrong the sky stretches into darkness and eternity beyond the atmosphere of Earth when one goes up in a space ship so we should enjoy the blue sky and clouds above us as they hold eternal hope and the sky, how right you are is a wondrous gift to Mankind. The poem came from the fact that I can’t see the sunsets from my window, we’re facing the wrong way, it grieves me as I love sunsets. I never thought about it till we moved and found out.
