A Womans Secret:

Smack!
Curled in a ball,
The room is silent
No one hears my sorrow.

Tears frozen, secret kept, words swallowed
Buried in thought
Empty and withdrawn
Isolated and torn.

Separated by love one’s,
Treated like a villain,
Understood by none.
Broken heart, frighten soul.

Smack!
My hearts beating,
My thoughts racing,
Rage pouncing against the wall.

My hands trembling,
My feet are quacking,
Nerves shattering, secret safe
He said, he loved, He said, he cared.

I am confused
All battered and bruise.

Memories are buried,
Bruises are healed,
Scars forever,
Secret sealed.
