A Womans Heart There are things about a woman, the things that she goes through. There's hope and dreams and promises that only some come true. Times of joy and laughter, there's heartache by the score. Nights when lonely teardrops fall until she can't cry no more. There's times when pride runs deep inside and there's insecurities. Keeping time like some old rhyme with all her memories. There's twists and turns and lessons learned, and disappointments too. There's so much about a woman and all that she goes though. There's lonely nights and silly fights like dresses that she's worn. There's passion like a fire, and then there's children born. Those tears she cries and still she tries to somehow rise above. It seems to be at least to me a woman's made of love. Like sunshine in the morning or a midnight moons bright glow. A woman's heart is where love starts and it helps the flowers grow. Edwin C Hofert

Thank you for such a beautiful poem! My mother passed away almost two years ago. When I went to her house I noticed her basket of flowers had died. They were dried and not worth trying to save but I watered it anyway and two days later they bloomed bright red again. Thank you for reminded me of her beauty!

Beautifully insightful, Ed. Kind of reminds me of my "Mamas Heart" piece.
