A Womans Heart
There are things about a woman,
the things that she goes through.
There's hope and dreams and promises
that only some come true.
Times of joy and laughter,
there's heartache by the score.
Nights when lonely teardrops fall
until she can't cry no more.
There's times when pride runs deep inside
and there's insecurities.
Keeping time like some old rhyme
with all her memories.
There's twists and turns and lessons learned,
and disappointments too.
There's so much about a woman
and all that she goes though.
There's lonely nights and silly fights
like dresses that she's worn.
There's passion like a fire,
and then there's children born.
Those tears she cries and still she tries
to somehow rise above.
It seems to be at least to me
a woman's made of love.
Like sunshine in the morning
or a midnight moons bright glow.
A woman's heart is where love starts
and it helps the flowers grow.
