A Wish
A Wish.
I wish I was a spider and I'd weave a sticky web
then I would invite my friends to stay
I'd share my silken bed.
Come, come to me, come stay with me a while.
Not likely but I like your style, says Mr Fly.
I'll not become you're creme delight, or peaches and cream
go back to you're silken bed Mrs Spider enjoy your
splendid dream.
Oh! Mr Fly you are so sly you caught me on my wish
I think I'll leave that sticky web with no-body inside her.
I wish I'd never had a wish to be a greedy spider.
Be my friend please Mr Fly I really need a mate
It was never in my mind to have you on my plate
I sit here and wonder why, the mere notion I'd eat a fly.
YUCK!
