A Wise Man Pt 2

A wise man once told myself, That having a good love can contribute to good health, Finding someone special is basic math, Cars, clothes, and chicks are just things you add, But when you find somebody worth giving your love to, It's not addition, multiplication you go through, She makes you a better him, You make she a better her, Deeper than numbers were the wise man's words. A wise man once told myself, Not to play a card until your hand is dealt, Patience takes a while so don't rush to decide, The truth tends to uncover everything we hide, Rather clear than cluttered is the mind of the wise, You can't expect to win a fight with closed eyes, If your mind is not open, your soul weak, Like a sponge I absorb what the wise man speaks. A wise man once told myself, Don't rest your life on a crooked shelf... The wisdom shifted as the shelf might do, "Balance," I said, "don't let life control you," "Right," he said, or I said to me, For my whole conversation was conducted internally, A fabrication? A fake? Or maybe disguise? Wisdom is only sought out by those who are wise. FRESH WRITTEN
