A Wintry Chill Held Me To Your Bosom

A wintry chill held me to your bosom The night drew praises from my lips My hungry prayers did feed a fiery blossom And the blast withdrew its icy fingertips. As fancies came unhinged from fear And diminished dark in its magnitude My heart bulged with its own good cheer And spilled its cries of gratitude
