A Winter's Eve Walk In the Snow
Crystalline stars are dancing down,
blanketing the now white ground;
cascading glass against the sky,
intermingles with the stars tonight.
The frigidity of the spectral trees
light-shimmering, their foliage be;
our footprints crunch crisp, snowy ground,
as together we stroll through the town.
We cast our eyes up to the heavens,
of shooting stars, we counted eleven
and make wishes for peace and harmony
and dream of next Spring's verdancy.
