A Winter Walk
Winter in the city
Is a beautiful sight
Though others may
Disagree
With spite
I walk down the road
Breathe in the air
And all around
At the landscape
I stare
A tree all alone
Ducks on a lake
Snow on the ground
Like icing
On cake
The ground underneath
Is muddy and wet
Some dry spots are found
In which
I step
I turn down a street
Pass by a home
Buried under lights
And in the yard
A gnome
Now I'm back at my house
What a wonderful walk
But now it must end
With the turning
Of
A
Lock
