The winter storm had gathered strength And Its fury was felt through its breadth and length As snowflakes flew the streets turned white The city became a ghostly sight They blamed it all on nature's wrath As snowplows tried to clear clogged paths And people stuck inside their cars Thanked their rescuers and lucky stars Icicles, like frozen spears, hung from window sills And clung to trees on snowy hills As into winter's deep freeze we plunged

Enjoyed reading your chilly work..It seems that it has been a bad one for parts of the country in that there has been lots of snow and ice..We have been cold and wet here as well..Thanks for stopping by..Sara

I feel so bad for those who are braving the winter storms in the northeast, and without electricity... You've perfectly captured the other side of winter that is not so pretty. Really great work, Joseph!
